About Ability Bridge

Small enough to know you. Professional enough to support you well.

Ability Bridge Support Services is a Brisbane-based disability support team built around a simple belief: good support should feel respectful, reliable and genuinely personal.

We work alongside participants, families and support networks—not over them. Your preferences, culture, communication style and goals guide how support is planned and delivered.

What you can expect

Support with dignity, choice and a clear purpose.

Quality support is more than completing a task. It is about listening, communicating and helping you remain in control of your own life.

You lead the way

Your goals, routines and preferences shape the support. We check in and adjust when your needs change.

The right fit matters

Trust grows through consistency. We focus on respectful relationships, clear expectations and reliable follow-through.

Communication stays clear

With your consent, we work constructively with families, support coordinators and other people in your support network.

Safety is never an afterthought

Our service approach prioritises worker screening, training, respectful practice, privacy and a genuine willingness to hear feedback.

Getting started

A simple, human way to begin.

No pressure and no confusing process. We start by understanding what good support looks like for you.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Call, email or send an enquiry. A family member or support coordinator can also contact us with your permission.

  2. 2

    Let's understand the fit

We talk through your goals, routine, preferences, funding arrangement and the support you are looking for.

  3. 3

    Plan your support

If we are the right fit, we agree on the details, complete the service arrangements and organise a suitable start.

Good to know

Questions before you get in touch?

If your question is not covered here, call us. We will give you a clear, honest answer.

Who can access your services?

We currently welcome enquiries from self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. If you are unsure how your plan is managed, you can ask your plan manager or contact us to discuss it.

Can a family member or support coordinator contact you?

Yes. A family member, nominee, support coordinator or allied health professional can contact us, provided the participant has consented to their involvement.

What happens before support begins?

We discuss your needs and goals, confirm that we can safely provide the requested support, agree on service details and complete a clear service agreement before regular support starts.

How do I provide feedback or make a complaint?

You can call or email us directly. We will listen, respond respectfully and explain what happens next. You can also report an issue independently to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
